A) A ceiling with no asbestos and not previously painted can be completed in 5-6 days depending on the SQ/FT. Q) Can I live on the property while this work is completed? A) We strongly recommend not residing in the property while this work is completed because of evaporation, and smell as the compound is drying overnight. RPH MicroCement FAQ
Q) What is Microcement? A) Micro concrete is a cement-based plaster-like coating which can be applied thinly (approximately 2-3mm) to a range of different surfaces including tile and wood. It provides the look and feels of concrete. Q) Is Microcement cheaper than tiling? A) Microcement is cheaper than tiles because it can be applied directly over existing surfaces. This means that you don't need to remove your old wall coverings, which can save on labour and disposal costs. Q) Can Microcement get wet? A) It is a natural material, extremely durable and resistant to both moisture and high temperatures. It is worth using for the bathroom because it is a raw material that does not absorb water. Q) Can RPH MicroCement look like plaster? A) RPH MicroCement finishes can replicate the look of a plastered finish with watermarks if so desired, alternatively if a clean or distressed cement look is desired this is equally viable.
